Community School, Milford
The Headmaster of Loreto Community School in Milford
is Mr. Andrew Kelly. The teachers taking part in the SchoolSat
project are Gerard Logue and Mairead McDaid. Loreto Community
School has a student population of 607 boys and girls.
In 1966 nuns of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary,

College became the first co-educational convent school
in Ireland. The school status changed from a Secondary
School to a Community School in 1996. A £4 million refurbishment/extension
is planned and all all-weather pitch is also about to
be developed.
All pupils are given the oppurtunity to develop a high
level of competence in information technology, creative
arts, sports, music, drama, materials technology and technology.
