Donegal Education Centre

Donegal Education Centre, which is located in Milltown, Donegal Town, supports the in-service needs of teachers in Donegal schools. DEC also hosts the services of the Donegal IT advisor, Mannus Brennan. The role of this advisor is to support schools and teachers in promoting the objectives of the Department of Education and Science's Schools IT 2000 policy within the implementation framework devised by the National Centre for Technology in Education. This includes each of the principal initiatives: Technology Integration Initiative, Teaching Skills Initiative, Schools Integration Project and ScoilNet. The Director of DEC is Mrs. Sally Bonner.
