Carrick Vocational School

Carrick Vocational School is situated in the village of Carrick in south - west Donegal. It is located beside Slieve League - Europe's highest sea cliffs. The school was originally established in the early 1950's and moved to it's present location in 1990. A comprehensive range of subjects is provided at both junior and senior level to the 275 students. The school has a fine sporting pedigree. Gaelic football, basketball and athletics are all very strong in the school.

Four past pupils were members of the Donegal All Ireland winning team of 1992. Athletes from the school have won medals at both national and international level. Mr Tony Boner is the principal and the school has a staff of 20. The teachers involved in the Schoolsat project are George McMullin and Noel Ward.
